Confidentiality and Personal Data Protection Policy

SommerGroup® is committed to safeguarding the confidentiality and protection of your personal data. We have developed a Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policy designed to ensure the highest standards of security and discretion in handling your information.

By registering, visiting our platforms, and/or submitting your information via email or any other electronic means, you consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and Law No. 19,628 on the Protection of Privacy. This Policy constitutes a binding agreement between SommerGroup® and any User who voluntarily engages with our services.

Submission and Use of Résumés

All résumés are submitted voluntarily and with the candidate’s prior consent to be stored in the SommerGroup® database. Such résumés may be considered and/or used in current or future search and selection processes for our clients. SommerGroup® will share personal information exclusively with its clients, and only when there is a vacancy that aligns with the candidate’s profile.

Authorization for Data Processing

In accordance with Article 4 of Law No. 19,628 (“Data Protection Law”), by registering on our website or platform, or by submitting your résumé through any electronic means, you expressly authorize SommerGroup® to store, share, and otherwise process your personal data for current or future search and selection processes for our clients, without requiring further authorization.

Use of Publicly Accessible Sources

By applying for a position, you expressly authorize SommerGroup® to use the personal data you provide for the purpose of obtaining or verifying additional information from Publicly Accessible Sources, as defined in paragraph (i) of Article 2 of the Data Protection Law. These sources may include, but are not limited to, records from the Civil Registry, Electoral Service (Servel), Judiciary, search engines such as Google, and others. Such verification may be carried out directly by SommerGroup® or through specialized third-party providers, solely to confirm identity and provide employers with relevant, additional information about the candidate.

Client Confidentiality Commitments

Through our Terms of Reference, SommerGroup® requires that its clients commit to treating all candidate applications and personal data with the strictest confidentiality. Such information must not be disclosed to third parties or used for any purpose other than the specific selection process for which it was provided.
